Perhaps one of the biggest delights of living in Burlington Vermont is the abundance of locally grown organic fruits and vegetables; as well as meats and cheeses to choose from. Not to mention the numerous local farmer’s markets, CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) and orchards that one can visit and enjoy.

Burlington is also lucky to have a downtown community market that is also a co-op (which means you can become a member and receive discounts and dividends). Another main draw to Burlington Vermont is the academic prestige of numerous local colleges. Most widely know being UVM (University of Vermont). UVM not only provides a pristine environment for students to further their education, it is also a wonderful resource to the Burlington community. With open access to the library and the multicultural events and lectures, Burlington locals have many opportunities to enjoy this landmark establishment; not to mention taking a walk through the gorgeous campus.
